DJ Cara-J is a rising female DJ in Melbourne’s growing Asian club scene. Along with DJ HalfCuts, DJ Cara-J is also part of the Clumff’s Double Trouble family. At only 22 years of age, this sexy minx already has a few top clubs under her belt.
She has played at BE @ Bass Lounge, Fashion Lounge, Colonial Hotel and is the resident DJ at Velvet Fridays @ Seven Nightclub. Under the encouraging guidance of DJ Chris Ooi, Cara-J has blossomed into the dynamic spinner that she is today. Don’t be fooled by her petite frame, DJ Cara-J can pump it up and get you on the dance floor in a heartbeat, spinning some of the finest R&B, House, Mash and Dance tunes.
When and how did you start as a DJ?
I was working as a promo girl for Cuervo and DJ Fluke & DJ Chris Ooi approached me because I made them buy too many tequila shots (and they were drunk).
What was the first event you ever played?
Debut night at Seven December 18th 2009.

Cara-Jayne = Cara-J
